St Louis Airport Guide Lambert St Louis International Airport has a captivating history. It was the first municipal airport in the US, the location of the world’s first parachute jump and amongst its other accolades, was the first place that an American President, Theodore Roosevelt, took a plane trip. St Louis International Airport has two terminals, the Main and East Terminal. They are further divided into five concourses, lettered between A and E. The airport’s Main Terminal serves a mixture of American and international airline companies, while East Terminal is purpose-built for domestic flight services. A free light-rail system, Metrolink, quickly transports passengers between the terminals. Free shuttles are also available all the time: they pick-up at exit 17 of the Main Terminal and exit 12 of the East Terminal. Each terminal and its concourses offers a variety of restaurants, bars and shops, including a large food court, souvenir stores and bookshops. Business services, banks, currency exchange facilities and ATMs are also available. There are no duty free shops in Lambert Airport. No conference rooms are available, however dataports are located at telephones throughout the airport. Wheelchairs are available from airlines or security personnel at the entrance to your flight’s gate. Special toilet facilities are also provided and in concourse D you will find a cart service.
